Session Description

Overview.  On Tuesday and Wednesday, October 14 and 15, the Everything Policy Program will convene leaders from across Government and industry who are working at the intersection of wireless technology and policy to strengthen America’s position as the global leader in wireless, advance our economic competitiveness, and create jobs.  Driven by the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and FCC Chairman Brendan Carr’s Build America Agenda, this year’s program will include conversations on increasing access to spectrum resources to support continued investment in our wireless future, expediting wireless deployment, unleashing innovation through deregulation, and securing our wireless networks.  Across two days of in-person programming, Everything Policy Program attendees can engage in meaningful conversations with industry partners and Government stakeholders on how innovative wireless technologies are enhancing our nation’s economy and daily lives.

1:05–1:25 pm | Policymaker Keynote

 

1:25-2:15 pm | Panel: Implementing America’s Renewed Spectrum Roadmap

This discussion will feature key Federal and industry stakeholders discussing how the U.S. will realize Congress’s and the Administration’s spectrum policy vision in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act for 5G and beyond.  Panelists will discuss the next steps for making additional mid-band spectrum available for full-power, licensed commercial use, including the Government coordination and evaluation needed to repurpose key Federal airwaves.  Panelists will also discuss the economic and national security benefits of American leadership in wireless and its role in driving international standardization efforts.

 

2:15-3:00 pm | Panel: Wireless Leadership on Capitol Hill

This discussion will feature Congressional staffers and Government Affairs experts who are at the forefront of developing Federal policies to drive wireless innovation.  This panel will include a discussion of some of the top legislative priorities before the midterm elections and updates on key legislative efforts to support wireless deployment and investment.

3:10-3:30 pm | Policymaker Keynote

 

3:30-4:15 pm | Panel: Unleashing Wireless Innovation and Deployment Through Deregulation

This discussion will feature experts from across the wireless industry and Government to discuss Federal agency efforts to remove regulations that are standing in the way of wireless investment, innovation, and infrastructure deployment in the United States.

 

4:15-4:45 pm | Panel: The Future Wireless Network is Now

This discussion will feature insights on how commercial wireless networks are improving connectivity and enhancing spectrum efficiency in the United States and worldwide.  Panelists will discuss use cases and consumer benefits of network slicing, Open and Virtualized RAN technologies, and the role that Artificial Intelligence plays in today’s wireless ecosystem, as well as the need to balance regulations that safeguard critical systems without hampering innovation.
