Session Description

Overview.  On Tuesday and Wednesday, October 14 and 15, the Everything Policy Program will convene leaders from across government and industry who are working at the intersection of wireless technology and policy to strengthen America’s position as the global leader in wireless, advance our economic competitiveness, and create jobs.  Driven by the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and FCC Chairman Brendan Carr’s Build America Agenda, this year’s program will include conversations on increasing access to spectrum resources to support continued investment in our wireless future, expediting wireless deployment, unleashing innovation through deregulation, and securing our wireless networks.  Across two days of in-person programming, Everything Policy Program attendees can engage in meaningful conversations with industry partners and Government stakeholders on how innovative wireless technologies are enhancing our nation’s economy and daily lives.

1:20–2:10 pm | Panel: Washington Talks Wireless – Perspectives from Policymaker Advisors

This discussion will feature updates from top Government advisors on critical wireless issues, ranging from spectrum policy, consumer and public safety, broadband deployment and competition, and what stakeholders can expect from the FCC and the Administration for the remainder of the year.

2:45–3:35 pm | Panel: Securing the Wireless Future

This discussion will feature updates from key Federal and industry stakeholders on the wireless industry’s role in countering foreign adversaries and protecting consumers from evolving threat actors.  This panel will address the importance of a whole-of-government approach and supply chain resiliency to ensure American leadership in critical technologies.

3:35–3:55 pm | Policymaker Keynote

 

3:55–4:40 pm | Panel: Spectrum Policies to Promote Wireless Investment

This discussion will feature insights from Federal and industry stakeholders on key spectrum policy issues that shape the wireless industry’s ability to invest and keep pace with rapidly growing consumer data demands.  Panelists will discuss a variety of hot topics that impact wireless investment and innovation, including near- and long-term priorities, the impact of policymakers’ decisions on technical rules and spectrum access models, and the role of satellite-based communications in the evolving wireless ecosystem.
