Jennifer Schneider joined American Tower in 2018 to open the company’s DC office after a brief stint at the FCC’s Office of Legislative Affairs. That was her third tour of duty at the Commission, having joined in 2001 as an attorney in the Wireline Competition Bureau and returning in 2010 as a Senior Advisor to Commissioner Michael J. Copps. In between, she worked on the Hill as legislative counsel for Congressman Rick Boucher (VA-09), covering the Commerce and Judiciary Committee portfolios and, later, was Vice President of Legislative Affairs at Frontier Communications. Ms. Schneider earned her J.D. from Cardozo Law School, after which she joined law firm Swidler Berlin to work on telecom matters. Her background in communications goes even further back – after earning her B.A. from Hamilton College, she worked as a copy assistant at LIFE Magazine and as an NBC Page at 30 Rock.
