As Vice President of Federal Relations, Wendy is responsible for developing advocacy strategy geared at informing Members of Congress on telecommunications issues including; wireless, broadband, data security, and Internet policy.
In addition to her role of engaging with Members of the House and Senate and their staffs, she has also led strategy and outreach to the White House and Executive Branch agencies on technology policy.
While she has been a policy advocate in Washington, DC for over 20 years, she began her telecom career as Executive Director of Federal Affairs at Ameritech Corporation, one of the original “Baby Bells” and was a “Pinnacle Award” recipient during her tenure.
Prior to working in the telecommunications industry, Wendy was Senior Director in the Federal Affairs office of a major automobile industry trade association.
She received her bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Political Science from Denison University in Ohio
