The GSMA North America Regional Interest Group (RIG) #97 brings together industry leaders, technical experts, and decision-makers from across the region’s telecommunications ecosystem to collaborate on advancing mobile connectivity.
Day One will feature focused working group sessions covering entitlement server use cases, device interoperability, and evolving network architectures. Participants will exchange insights on operational challenges and explore solutions to drive innovation, efficiency, and resilience across North American networks.

Agenda
- NA Services Working Group (9:00 AM – 10:00 AM)
The NA Services Working Group brings together members to discuss the latest developments, challenges, and priorities in telecom services and service enablement capabilities. This session will highlight recent developments of a significant nature that will be of some importance to members of the carrier and equipment vendor community - NA Services: Entitlement Workshop (10:30 AM – 12:00 PM)
This workshop will focus on entitlement solutions that enable secure and seamless service activation for consumers. Participants will explore current industry approaches, technical considerations, and future trends in entitlement management. This workshop is open to both members and non-members. - NA Terminals (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
The NA Terminals session will address device-related topics including specifications, interoperability, and evolving market requirements. Attendees will share insights on terminal certification, standards, and innovation to ensure a consistent user experience. - NA Network Group (1:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
The NANG session will cover advancements in network technology, operations, and interoperability across North America. Key topics include evolution of 6G voice services, Global NG updates, AI traffic impact in the telecom/data network, and a private wireless whitepaper update on LTE use cases, alongside update on study item for Improving Public safety. - NA Wireless Empowerment and Education (3:30 PM - 4:30 PM)The WEE Working Group session will explore the Wireless Workforce of the Future as a key industry initiative. Discussions will focus on defining the scope of this effort and outlining initial steps to support workforce development, skills alignment, and long-term sustainability. Attendees will help shape the framework for advancing talend strategies critical to the growth of the wireless ecosystem.
