Aseem Datar is the Corporate Vice President of Product Innovation for Microsoft Discovery & Quantum (MDQ), where he oversees initiatives across various business units and product lines to build an ecosystem that enables emerging products to swiftly deliver customer value and meet business objectives. Aseem has over 17 years of multifaceted experience at the company, including roles in engineering, product management, customer and partner engagement, and as Chief of Staff within the Azure leadership team.
During his tenure at Microsoft, Aseem played a pivotal role in launching several new Azure services that have grown into multi-billion-dollar businesses. His blend of business acumen and technical expertise positions him well to guide strategic initiatives and collaborate with engineering, sales, finance, and business development teams to drive product success. In his current role, Aseem is responsible for a set of strategic projects aimed at accelerating MDQ's growth and expanding its presence across multiple market categories, specifically next-generation computing efforts to accelerate scientific advancements.
