Cristina Rodriguez is Vice President and General Manager of Intel’s Network & Edge Group. With full business, sales and marketing ownership, Rodriguez leads Intel’s Telco, Enterprise and Connectivity businesses. Rodriguez drives Intel’s strategy to deliver innovative networking infrastructure solutions to empower customers to build future networks and accelerate innovations across 5G & 6G, AI, edge and cloud computing.
Rodriguez joined Intel in 2014 through the acquisition of Axxia Networking Business from Avago Technologies Ltd., where she led the software strategy and execution. She brings over 20 years of experience spanning from startups to global corporations, with expertise in software development, networking, and telecommunications.
Rodriguez earned her bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Instituto Superior Politécnico José Antonio Echeverría in Havana, Cuba, her master's degree in computer science from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in Madrid, Spain, and completed the Stanford Executive Accelerator Program at Stanford University.
Rodriguez is a recognized leader in the industry, in her community, and at Intel. Cristina serves on the Boards of the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association (CTIA), the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS), and the Telecom Infra Project (TIP). She is a member of the TelecomTV Digital Service Providers (DSP) Leaders Council and a multi-year recipient of the HiTEC 100 Award, distinguished as one of the 100 most influential Hispanics in the technology industry. She has also been recognized by the Austin (TX) Chamber of Commerce with the Greater Austin Business Award (GABA) for CEO/Site Leader of the Year.
