Atilla Tinic serves as Chief Information Officer for Qualcomm, where he leads the company’s global IT strategy and operations globally. His responsibilities include steering Qualcomm’s digital, AI and data transformation and fostering innovation throughout the organization.
Tinic is an experienced IT executive with a proven track record in aligning technology strategies with business objectives. Before joining Qualcomm, Tinic served as CIO at DISH Network, where he led IT strategy, delivery, and operations across both DISH’s pay-TV and wireless businesses. Prior, he was Chief Information Officer at Level 3 Communications.
He has received multiple industry recognitions for leadership excellence, including most recently being named a 2025 National ORBIE Awards Super Global Finalist and the 2024 Colorado ORBIE Awards Super Global Winner.
He received a BA degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Applied Science from the University of Denver.
