Suvajit leads Information Technology group at Goya Foods where he drives modernization and transformational projects for Supply Chain, ERP, and Analytics among others, that have resulted in significant return on investments (ROI).
In 15+ years at Goya, Suvajit is credited for the IT strategy and executing several innovative industry leading projects that have improved supply chain planning, inventory accuracy, manufacturing and operational efficiency. With continuous modernization of systems and infrastructure, Goya is using real-time demand forecasting, pricing and sales systems to drive growth, profits and customer satisfaction.
In recent years, Suvajit has received several industry awards. He has been awarded the 2023 Manufacturing Leadership Council Award for Digital Transformation Leadership and was Enterprise CIO of The Year for New York City in 2021. Suvajit is also a current AT&T Manufacturing Advisory Member and Verizon MEC Advisory Member.
Suvajit values great partnerships and spearheaded the building of a best-in-class "practical innovation" technology infrastructure by working closely with the best technology providers on the planet.
Prior to Goya, Suvajit founded an integrated ERP software company for the cable industry, with clients such as ESPN, FOX, FOODTV, MLB, MSNBC, and NBA. After selling the company, he went on to build an analytics and Business Intelligence company for Cable Network & MSO’s.
A serial entrepreneur, passionate engineer, and sports lover, Suvajit is a student of leadership, entrepreneurship, and team dynamics. Currently, he is interested in understanding the champion mindset and what makes him a better leader and mentor.
