Speaker Bio
Kara Graves is Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at CTIA, where she advocates on behalf of the association before the FCC and other federal agencies on a variety of issues of interest to the wireless industry. Among other things, her areas of focus include spectrum availability, wireless infrastructure deployment, and accessibility. Prior to joining CTIA, she was an Associate in the Communications Section of the law firm of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. in Washington, D.C. Before joining the legal profession, Kara worked as an online and radio journalist. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law and received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, summa cum laude, from The Ohio State University. She is a member of the bars of Maryland and Washington, D.C.
