Speaker Bio
José Arias is responsible for broadening Nokia's relationships with government and industry for the North of Latin America and the Caribbean in the areas of public policy, technology regulation, connectivity, digitalization, and sustainability.
José previously worked at the Mexican regulator as General Director of Spectrum Planning and as Director of Wireless Technologies, where he also held several leadership roles in international organizations, including Chair of the Terrestrial Services Committee at ITU.
In the private sector, he has worked in companies such as Alcatel-Lucent in the fields of business development, corporate strategy, pre-sales, and wireless network design.
José has a Master's Degree in Business Administration, a Master's Degree in Regulation and Economic Competition, and an Engineering in Communications and Electronics.
