Speaker Bio
Jason Olson serves as a Director of Global Public Policy at AT&T Services, Inc. In this position, he is responsible for developing and coordinating AT&T's public policy positions on cybersecurity. Mr. Olson participates in a wide range of legislative, regulatory and policy development proceedings and represents AT&T before stakeholders on the Federal and state levels and in a variety of international forums.
Prior to his current position, Jason served in AT&T’s International External & Regulatory Affairs organization where he led outreach to the foreign diplomatic community in Washington, D.C., provided regulatory and policy support for AT&T’s international business units, and advocated on international trade policy and other ICT-related issues before U.S. federal agencies.
He began his career with AT&T in St. Louis, Missouri as an intern in 1997, and has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility within the company, primarily in the External & Legislative Affairs organization.
Jason holds undergraduate degrees in Economics and Political Science from North Dakota State University and a MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He is based in Washington, D.C., where he is an active member in several industry organizations.
