Hardmon Williams

Speaker Bio

Hardmon Williams is Senior Vice President in our Business Mobility segment. In this capacity, he has end-to-end responsibility for product innovation, business development and operations for the Internet of Things (IoT) business. 


Prior to this assignment, Hardmon was Vice President of mobility sales in our Mid-Markets organizationwhere he led a team that developed wireless solutions for mid-sized companies. Hardmon has worked in AT&T’s strategy group, helping evaluate the company’s direction across the Telecommunications, Media, and Technology sectors. 


Hardmon also held various field executive assignments in AT&T’s Sales & Distribution Group, including assignments in the Northern Plains and North Texas markets, delivering wireless and entertainment solutions.


He was part of the leadership team responsible for launching AT&T’s TV brand, U-verse. During that assignment, he led an initiative to deliver U-verse technology to the multi-tenant housing industry.


He has served as the Assistant Vice President responsible for partnerships and alliances. In this role, he was focused on managing AT&T’s business development efforts with IT firms like Cisco, HP, IBM, Deloitte.


Hardmon began his career with AT&T as an Inroads intern while in college and joined the company full time in 1992. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of sales, marketing, and operations roles. With most of his tenure in sales, he has spent much of that time building and leading new channels for the company.


Hardmon earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Indiana University. He also holds an MBA in Technology and Management from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern. A native of Indiana, he and his wife met in college, and they have a son and daughter.
