Speaker Bio
Is a light current electrical engineer trained at the University of Nairobi and holds an MBA in finance from the same University. He has extensive experience in the ICT sector that spans over 15 years having worked in ICT operations, ICT regulation and ICT development. He has worked as a radio planning intern at Celtel now Airtel networks, a hard ware engineer at Kenya Revenue Authority, and as a radio engineer carrying out frequency spectrum management at Communications Authority of Kenya. He is a member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya and Project Management Institute. Currently, he manages telecommunications mobile development projects at CA right from identification of uncovered populations/geographies, design of interventions and financial modelling for projects viability. He further holds a Digital Transformation certificate from Dartmouth University and is currently preoccupied with devising approaches to increase usage/adoption of mobile broadband in efforts to ensure operators’ ROI and sustain provision of quality mobile services. He loves to play golf, hiking and reading for knowledge.
