Chris Ruettgers serves as emnify's Chief Product Officer, responsible for driving global product and network access activities. With over 13 years of experience in the M2M and IoT telecom industry, Chris plays a vital role in advancing emnify's IoT SuperNetwork, a leading cloud building block for cellular communications in the IoT ecosystem, connecting millions of IoT devices worldwide. The award-winning IoT SuperNetwork, recognized for its excellence, is the largest globally distributed mobile cloud core network of its kind. It enables local network access in over 180 countries, catering to enterprise customers and enabling various IoT service providers.
As a member of emnify's executive team, Chris leads product and network access from strategy to execution. Chris has held several notable executive positions, including Chief Product Officer and Chief Innovation Officer at Deutsche Telekom IoT. In these roles, he oversaw the complete IoT portfolio, from connectivity, solutions to enablement capabilities. His achievements span an impressive range, from pioneering Wi-Fi service integration in prominent premium car brands to spearheading the T-IoT transatlantic product alliance with T-Mobile US. Notably, Chris devised a comprehensive IoT satellite strategy during his tenure at Deutsche Telekom IoT.
