Amy Bender is Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at CTIA, where she advocates the interests of the wireless industry before the FCC and other federal agencies, focusing on broadband deployment, adoption and inclusion, consumer protection, and public safety matters. Prior to joining to CTIA, she was Vice President and Legislative Counsel at NCTA. Before that, she served over 13 years at the Federal Communications Commission in a wide range of positions, including Legal Advisor to Commissioner O’Rielly and Chairman Martin, Legal Counsel to Chiefs of the Wireline Competition Bureau, and Deputy Chief of the Telecommunications Access Policy Division. Ms. Bender also worked as a telecommunications associate at Wiley Rein & Fielding LLP in Washington, D.C. She received her B.A. summa cum laude from Rice University and earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School.
