Session Description
We have already started to witness the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in areas such as education and in the military, and recent reports suggest that the AI market is predicted to reach a staggering $407 billion by 2027. But with wide-spread and well documented concerns around job displacement and re-skilling needed as a result of AI adoption, the question is - can it really do everything we do?
In this session, we will explore how AI has already surpassed human performance in certain tasks and what the potential of AI replicating human capabilities will be in the future. We will discuss how AI can help us diagnose diseases, predict natural disasters, and improve productivity. Alongside this, we will also address the ethical and societal implications this holds, such as concerns about bias, privacy and whether AI will attract new talent to up fill the demand for AI skilled workers.
