Tue, Sep 26: 12:40 pm - 1:00 pm PDT

Debate Stage – W223, Level 2

Session Description

A recent report suggested that the estimated value of the 5G IoT market is US$3.6 billion this year projected to reach US$55.1 billion by 2033. This growth has created a staggering increase in the amount of data produced by connected technology from smartphones and devices, to smart cities and connected utilities, leaving many wondering if our current infrastructure can handle such a deluge of information.

Join us as we deliberate the challenges such as security risks and the danger of overwhelming our data centres, alongside solutions to managing the incredible amount of data generated such as the use of AI and Quantum Computing.
